    The present invention relates to a device for fixing mats in a vehicle, such as, for example, for fixing a mat to the floor of a vehicle.

    Description of a preferred embodiment
    As can be seen in the drawings, the carpet fixing device according to the present invention comprises a first fixing element 1, which is
    10 attached to a mat 5, and a second fixing element 2, said first and second fixing elements 1, 2 being coupled to each other, as will be explained later.
    The fixing device according to the present invention allows fixing a mat 5 15 to the floor 6 of a vehicle, which is preferably covered with a mat 7 or the like.
    In accordance with the present invention, fixed to the floor 6 of the vehicle is a body 4, for example a bolt, rod or the like, with which said second fixing element 2 is coupled.
    20 Said body 4 is preferably welded to the floor 6 of the vehicle, although it could be fixed in any suitable way.
    For coupling with said body 4, the second fixing element 2 comprises a
    25 housing 10, which vertically crosses said second fixing element 2, as can be seen in the figures.
    In the coupling position, said body 4 is placed inside said housing 10, and in addition, projections 8 of said second fixing element 2 are

    For its part, the first fixing element 1 is formed by an upper portion 1a and a lower portion 1b joined together, for example, threaded together. According to the embodiment represented in the figures, said flange 11 is placed internally in said lower portion 1b.
    The use and assembly of the fixing device according to the present invention is as follows:
    As indicated above, said body 4 or bolt is welded or otherwise attached to the floor 6 of the vehicle, forming an integral part thereof, and said mat 7 is also previously mounted on the floor 6 of the vehicle.
    Said first fixing element 1 is mounted on a mat 5, for example by placing the upper portion 1a and the lower portion 1b above and below said mat 5, and screwing said portions 1a, 1b together to join them.
    With respect to the second fixing element 2, before its first placement, it will preferably be coupled to the first fixing element 1, although it could also be separated from it. The coupling between the first fixing element 1 and the second fixing element 2 is carried out by means of the flange 11 and the head 12 indicated above.
    It should be noted that the carpet fixing device according to the present invention is preferably supplied as shown in Figure 3, that is, with three parts: the first fixing element 1, the second fixing element 2 and the carpet 5.

    For fixing the mat 5, simply said second fixing element 2 must be coupled with said body or bolt 4, placing it around it.
